Bermuda Grass - Centipede Grass - St. Augustine Grass - Zoysia Grass The grass plugs we sell are primarily adapted to areas of the Southern USA states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. Some species or varieties may not be suitable for use in states with colder winter climates. Use our grass plug guide to help determine which grass plug varieties are best adapted for your area. Another good source of information will be your local cooperative extension agent. The only plug grass species we sell that is suitable for planting in colder locations is Zoysia. Establishing time for plugged lawns will depend on the time of year when your plugs are planted along with the variety, climate, spacing, soil type and care. Generally it can take anywhere from one to three years to fully establish a lawn from plugs.
